Expanded from 30 MGY to 40 MGY, this ICM-built plant in Russell, KS, is located in an industrial complex that also houses a wheat mill, a feed mill, and a carbon dioxide recovery plant. Unique to U.S. ethanol plants, it uses an emulsified slurry of waste starch from the wheat mill to make up about one-third of its feedstock.
