Dryers & Thermal Oxidizers
Back in 1995, ICM, Inc., President and CEO Dave Vander Griend saw a need in the ethanol industry for a safer, more efficient distillers grain dryer. So, he hired a small group of employees, they built one, and ICM was born.
ICM installed that first dryer in 1996, and we’ve since become the industry’s vendor of choice. In fact, ICM dryers are being installed in two out of three U.S. ethanol plants under construction, and our 100th dryer is set to be delivered in the summer of 2006.
Approximately 2 out of 3 U.S. ethanol plants prefer ICM dryers.
The industry’s most energy-efficient distillers grain dryers
ICM dryers produce the golden dried distillers grains demanded by livestock feed and dairy markets. Plus, they utilize a hot-gas recovery system with automated dampers to control throughput.
Thermal oxidization systems that exceed Best Available Control Technology (BACT) requirements
Our thermal oxidizers deliver the best reduction in dryer atmospheric emissions and odor control in the industry.
Fabricated equipment manufactured with high-grade, industrial-strength components covered by a parts and labor warranty
ICM dryer drums rotate on solid-steel trunnion wheels. All high-temperature areas feature refractory lining to retain heat. Our conveyors and gearboxes are designed to withstand extreme surge capacities. And, ICM dryers feature heavy steel-belt guards for easy inspection and replacement.
Built-in safety features
All ICM equipment is designed with built-in safety features.
On-site training
Operators are brought up to speed with proven startup training, while new employees benefit from ongoing training.
Unparalleled Plant Support
We offer accurate and timely support by keeping our customers’ dryer records on file. Plus, we even have a 24-hour HOTLINE supported by an emergency response team.
